We don't have to be ordinary,
Make your best mistakes,
'Cause we don't have the time to be sorry..
- Life of the party, By Shawn Mendes
Most people just stay content by living an ordinary life, taking no risks at all. They find bliss in their safe little universe. Well, I believe that if everyone is thinking alike, then someone isn't thinking at all!
People need to realize that doing something out of the ordinary is completely acceptable. By out of the ordinary, I don't mean going skydiving or parasailing or scuba-diving. Those are extreme sports and it's totally the individual's choice.
By out of the ordinary, I mean that you should try doing something new, which people don't embrace in their day-to-day lives. It might be scary, because you might fail or you might lose heart, but you do receive the experience. And experience is cheap at any cost. You just don't have the time in your life to cry over a failure. There's much more to life than that. Move on- be happy, be joyful, be confident and enjoy your life, bringing happiness to yourself and others.
What do people expect from a teenager? Usually it is - go to school, do well in every other aspect but simultaneously ace the tests, behave like an adult while being treated like a child, etcetera etcetera. Well, an out of the ordinary thinking is required here, both from the teenager's perspective and the society's. Now what the thought shall be, I will leave that option to you.
Being out of the ordinary can start with little things, before it turns into a lifestyle. For example, you could start out by having cornflakes for, say, dinner. Cornflakes are a stereotypical breakfast food option. You could start off the trend, because I'm sure, their taste doesn't vary at different times of the day!
I'm sure the definition of being out of the ordinary changes from person to person and this was just Miss Peppermint's take.
